City Council: Informational Hearing
October 7 was originally planned as the date for introducing the ordinances, but the Council added 35 days to the approval schedule to provide more time for the public to review the final package. The review period is now over 60 days.
The Council instead decided to revisit the decision to introduce the ordinances on October 14. If the ordinances are introduced at that time, the final vote on whether or not to approve the package would happen on November 11.

Planning Commission Approval Hearing
UPDATE: A big win for Esmeralda! The Planning Commission voted 4–1 to recommend the project for approval. Thanks to everyone who came up to speak at public comment in support of the project.

Final Entitlements Package Submission
We worked with the city to publish the Esmeralda entitlements package 20 days before the Planning Commission hearing.
This is far and above what the law requires. Packages are typically released just before the hearing, but we think it's important that the public has time to review the package, especially considering how large this one is.

Town Hall at Veteran's Memorial Hall
The City Council has collected a list of questions the have arisen as we've done local outreach over the past year about our proposal.
The purpose of this event is to provide another forum to respond to these questions and continue the dialogue with folks who are interested in learning more about what was previously approved at the site and how we are proposing to modify those plans.
There will be a presentation towards the beginning of the event based on the questions the City Council has been collecting, and then we will jump into Q&A.

UPDATE: We are thrilled that the City Council formally adopted the project's Water Supply Assessment (WSA)!
This assessment confirms that Cloverdale has sufficient water supply to meet the project's needs along with all other demands in the city (including significant projected growth) under normal, single dry year, and multiple dry year conditions.

We are excited to welcome you to another event regarding the Esmeralda development project that we are proposing for the Alexander Valley Resort (AVR) site on the southeast end of Cloverdale.
The format of the Open House will be informal. We will set up stations around the main room addressing various topics of interest, from open space, to transportation, to the design vision for the future resort-hotel. You'll be able to speak directly to team members about each topic.
